hena is an app that lets you save your locations and share them easily. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data hena collects and how it is handled.
Data Storage
All your content (locations and associated data) is stored locally on your device. hena does not have servers that store your personal data. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the iCloud backup feature.
iCloud Backup
If you choose to use the backup feature, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This data is protected by Apple's security and privacy practices. hena does not have access to your iCloud account or your backup data.
Subscriptions
hena offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions managed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes your subscription status using an anonymous app user ID. No personal information such as your name or email is shared with RevenueCat. For more details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
hena uses Expo Insights for basic, anonymous usage analytics to help improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected.
No Account Required
hena does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
Third-Party Services
hena integrates with the following third-party services:
- Apple CloudKit (iCloud) — for optional backup and restore
- RevenueCat — for subscription management
- Expo Insights — for anonymous analytics
Children's Privacy
hena does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app stores data locally and does not require registration.
